CASE STUDY: YIN ACUPUNCTURE
Yin Acupuncture had a thriving Acupuncture practice in a nearby town and decided to open a satellite location in Downtown Plymouth to offer “Community Acupuncture”- a group oriented treatment modality.
In addition to the challenges of opening (and promoting) a second location, the practice owner felt that her existing branding and website were not up to par, so this project evolved to encompass a total rebranding, new website design and Search Engine Optimization.
As part of the rebranding initiative, we developed a new logo, color scheme and language that communicated the practice’s contemporary approach to Traditional Chinese medicine. A streamlined modern wordmark combined with an ancient mandala (signifying Eastern thought) came together to form a distinctive, unified logo implemented across the website, signage and corporate ID package.
In terms of content, it was important to the practitioner that prpsoective patients be able to educate themselves, not only about her practice but also about the history, benefits and empirically validated efficacy of Acupuncture. The new site is rich in informative, original content that accomplishes that goal and also offers a tremendous boost to search engine visibility.
As a small business launching a new location, cost savings were a major consideration. To this end, we were able to implement a number of highly efficient technologies on the website which accommodated vital business processes such as online booking and digital intake form submissions with very little cost.
